When I am on an extended hunt, I find myself touching up broadheads in the evening. After resharpening the heads, I coat each side of the fresh edge with a light layer of lip balm. Any brand works, but one with a beeswax base is a little sturdier. The coating helps prevent oxidation and dulling, especially in moist climates such as the Pacific Northwest. You could also use your favorite bowstring wax in place of the lip balm.
